Clean room

Located atthe IMB-CNM, the Integrated Microelectronics Clean Room is one of the three nodes of the distributed Singular Scientific and Technical Infrastructures (ICTS)MICRONANOFABS, Network of Micro and Nano Manufacturing Clean Rooms, together with the Institute of Optoelectric Systems and Microtechnology (ISOM-UPM) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Nanophotonic Technology Centre of Valencia (NTC-UPV) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. It is also a node of the ICTS NANBIOSIS. The facility, located at the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute (IMB) and part of the National Microelectronics Centre (CNM), is especially prepared to carry out projects that require silicon integrated circuits and device technologies (chips), from their design and manufacture to their encapsulation and subsequent electrical and physical characterisation. It also deals with other materials for the production of micro- and nanosystems.
